Features, review

The game, analysed.

A report on one game: how it ended, where it turned, how each side played, and the facts. Made to read fast.

9... b5

The Opera Game, in Review's words: it turned on 9... b5, when White was better, then winning. One sentence, before any number.

How it ended, how it turned.

The title says how the game ended, from the final position or the game's own words, never guessed. Under it, one sentence names the move it turned on.

Each side, side by side.

How often each side played Arasan's choice, the average loss in pawns, and the inaccuracies, mistakes and blunders, measured by how much of the game each move gave away. Counts, never accuracy percentages.

Where it swung.

A tall graph of the whole game, with the middlegame and endgame marked under it and the key moments numbered on it. Drag along it to read any move, and tap to open the game there.

The key moments.

Up to six moves where the game swung most, in order, each with a small board, the move, Arasan's best and the change in words.

By phase.

Opening, middlegame and endgame: the moves each covers, each side's average loss and the biggest mistake. Under the opening, its name and where the game parts from the other games in your book.

The facts of the game.

Material through the game, captures, checks, castling, the busiest piece and the best move. With clock times, the longest think, the time used in each phase and time trouble. With Arasan, sacrifices and missed wins and draws.

Move by move.

One step deeper: every move or only the key moments, with previous, Play and next under your thumb, Arasan's best line under the board, and the 2D, 3D and AR switch.

In detail.

Opens
At once for a game Arasan has looked at. Otherwise the facts show straight away and Arasan fills in the rest on the phone.
Measures
An inaccuracy gives away a twentieth of the game, a mistake a tenth, a blunder three twentieths, against Arasan's best.
No percentages
Counts and pawns only. No accuracy scores.
Without Arasan
The facts that come from the moves, and a line saying why.
Clock times
From games recorded in the app, or PGN with clock comments.
When
Finished games only. Never for a game being recorded.
