You v James Cole, recorded at the club. Twelve moves, no board on screen.
Big keys.
Legal moves.
Piece, file, rank. Keys that cannot make a legal move dim as you type, so a mistyped move cannot go in. It never suggests one.
Missed a move? Leave a gap.
Carry on recording and fill it in after the game. Plyfolio never guesses what was played.
Phone restarted? Carry on.
Every move is saved on the phone the moment you add it.

- Keys
- K Q R B N, files a to h, ranks 1 to 8, x, +, #, both castlings and promotion.
- Accurate entry
- Keys that cannot make a legal move dim as you type; x, + and # are completed. Never a suggestion.
- Strict entry
- A setting that turns accurate entry off, for events whose arbiters want a plain scoresheet.
- Never
- A board, an evaluation, a suggestion or a hint while you record.
- Gaps
- Leave a missed move empty and fill it in later. Never guessed for you.
- Saving
- After every move, on the phone. Picks up after a restart.
- Details
- Only the two players are needed. Place, event and time control can wait.
