From a file
In the Library, choose Add game, then Import file, and pick the .pgn. You can also open a .pgn from Files, Mail or another app and choose Plyfolio.
Paste PGN
Copy a game from a website or message, then choose Add game, Paste PGN. Plyfolio shows the game before it is added.
Matching players
If a name in the file looks like someone in your People, Plyfolio asks whether they are the same player. Say no and a new player is made. Nothing is merged without your say.
Games that need a look
If a game cannot be read, usually because of an illegal move or a broken tag, Plyfolio lists it with the reason and the move number, and imports the rest. You can fix it in a text editor or a PGN checker and import it again.
Large files
Files of many thousands of games work, but take longer to read. Plyfolio shows its progress honestly and you can keep using the phone. If a very large file is slow, split it by year.
