Turn the board.

Any board you study in Plyfolio can switch to 3D. Play the game through, turn it to any angle, or sit where the players sat.

The Opera Game, Morphy v Duke Karl and Count Isouard, Paris 1858. Drag to turn the board, or choose a view.

A real board.

Thickness, coordinates on the edge, dark squares with the cover finish and light squares clean. The pieces are turned like a real set, and the knight is cut from Plyfolio's own.

Any angle.

Drag to turn it, pinch to come in close, or pick a view: White's side, Black's side, the player's eye or overhead.

The moves, played through.

Pieces glide from square to square, the knight hops, captures leave the board and the last move is marked by the ribbon.

In detail.

Where
Study and review in the app, and the free PGN viewer on this site. Never on a recording screen.
Views
White's side, Black's side, player's eye and overhead, or any angle you turn it to.
Switch
One square 2D and 3D switch beside the board. The 2D board is always there.
Reduced motion
No camera moves, and pieces jump to their squares.
Offline
In the app the board and pieces ship inside it, so 3D works with no signal.
