Features, everywhere
Made like a book.
Motion that turns like pages, haptics you can feel, finishes like a good cover.
- 640ms
- the book opens from its spine
- 260ms
- a page turns between moves
- 520ms
- a saved game slides into the book
Book motion, for the big moments only. Reduced motion turns it into a cross-fade.
Moves turn like pages.
Stepping through a game turns a shallow page round the spine. Hold to riffle. Nothing moves that you are reading.
Feel, not noise.
Eleven named haptics, one for each kind of action: a key, a knock when a move is accepted, a ribbon settling. Sounds are off at the board.
Rugged covers, clean pages.
Dark surfaces carry a fine bookcloth finish; light pages stay perfectly clean. The ribbon marks your place and nothing else.
