How it is laid out
- One numbered line for each move pair, so White and Black always share a number.
- A slightly darker rule every five moves, to find your place at a glance.
- Rating boxes beside each name, because congress results are entered with them.
- Results to ring, 1-0, ½-½ or 0-1, so the result is never ambiguous.
- Clear boxes and plain type, which also read well if scanning arrives later.
Printing at actual size
Print at 100 percent, or "actual size". "Fit to page" shrinks the lines and makes them harder to write in. Plain 80 gsm paper is fine; a clipboard helps at tables without much room.
Make one with your event filled in
Organisers and clubs can use the free scoresheet maker to print sheets with the event name, round and date already filled in, and your club's name at the top.
